Mina's Story
I know it's hard to believe, but I actually went on to graduate from college! I earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master's from the University of Louisville. What's worse...I went right back to high school...I taught speech and English for 32 years. 3 years, and in 2004 was selected to be Chairman of the English Department. In 2007 Holmes High School elected me "Educator of the Year." I still can't figure out why... In 2009 I retired and moved back to Kentucky. It's great to be back in the Bluegrass State!
I married my hero Tom Stecklein from Wisconsin in 1981. We've been married for 37 years. Who would have dreamed.....
